For this project we were told to design for a beverage. We needed to come up with a type of beverage and brand it, then make a 6 pack carrier for it. For me it was simple because one of my dream jobs it working for a brewery designing their stuff, so I stuck with Beer. I choice to revisit an old project I had with Twisted Fairytale and make a new line of beer, the pale ale. In this I would illustrate a twisted version of Rapunzel because she is a blonde princess in the fairytale so it works fairy well (and yes that pun was intended).

In the original project, which I got last year when I was at Benedictine College I had Idea's for 6 different beers. I had a concept for an Amber Ale (Red Riding Hood), Pale Ale (Rapunzel), Wheat Beer (Hanzel and Grettel), Stout (Snow White), IPA (Rumplestiltskin), and a Porter (Sleeping Beauty). My original vision was to have a 6 pack variety pack, but in the end I only had time to design for one beer, and I chose to do Red Riding Hood. This was the main reason I was excited about this project because I had the chance to revisit my original concept and design another 6 pack for my awesome made-up brewery.

My labels for my Rapunzel's Kiss, Pale Ale did not turn out as nice as I had hoped. I didn't give myself much time to work on them so I just did the same design that I had for both my carrier and P.O.D. Design. If I gave myself more time with this project and didn't procrastinate the majority of it I would have been able to do more with the other aspects of this project, but I didn't so everything is about the same this as the 6 pack carrier if not the same as it.

This is the templet we have for our 6 pack carrier. We had to place our image into this using photoshop and have it printed. Then, we cut it up and assembled it to make it into a carrier. This was harder than I expected because I didn't assemble until the day it was due, and I did practice on little paper samples, but that was really hard because it was so small compared to the real size. In the end I finished everything on time and don't completely hate what I did so that's something I guess.
