This was a rough project for me because I'm not much of a reader. There were not many books on the list that I have read so my options were pretty limited. At first I thought I would design for The Shining, but nothing creative was happening and I couldn't come up with an idea to save my life. So I decided to switch to a different book and do the Wizard of Oz. Within two minutes I had an idea in my mind and I was starting to make planes on what I was going to do for the book cover. The Wizard of Oz I guess was easy because it's a classic and everyone knows it. I did the cliche take of the cover in my opinion because I did a yellow brick road leading up to emerald city. Something that has been done before by everyone who does the wizard of oz.  Though I feel like I did make it a bit original because I made it look a little bit more classical in appearance, nothing fancy or photoish in design. To me it felt like a cover you would find designed in the 50’s or 60’s. I made the grass and sky in photoshop and then everything else in illustrator, So I got the chance to use many different techniques on one project. Even though I think if I took more time on this I could have made this more creative and original, but I don't regret it because it gave me the chance to experiment in photoshop and also the transfer of files from program to program.

We also Had to make a design for three other formats, an Audio Cd, Itunes, and Kindel bookshelves. This wasn't that difficult cause I just popped my first design into the three different formates and called it a day.
